Early Paul Chelko Still Life

Paul Chelko (1933–2007), Untitled still life, oil on board, c.1955, presented in its original teak frame. Born in Scotland, Chelko relocated to Atlanta in the early 1950s, where he studied at the Atlanta College of Art. Original newspaper articles from the 1970s, published in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and collected by a previous owner, remain affixed to the back of the piece.
